Publishing house Stanislav Juhaňák – Triton publishes books since 1991. They specialize mostly on medical, psychological, philosophical and books about history and pedagogy. From fiction, they focus on biographies, sci-fi and fantasy and also on fairy stories for children.

The authors of these books are predominantly university professors and leading authorities from scientific institutions and medical laboratories (Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine; numerous medical faculties; Institute of Endocrinology; Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education; Faculty of Science of the Charles University; University of West Bohemia in Plzeň; University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice; Palacký University Olomouc, and others).

Every year, this publishing house launches approximately 120-150 books in Czech or other languages, and some of them are co-produced with other publishers (Argo, Labyrint, Epocha, ČBS, Schattauer).
